Fall/winter 2026 style guide

BUILT FOR EVERY DAY

Five easy combinations for commuting, exploring, traveling, and doing absolutely nothing at home.

As we settle into fall with colder days and earlier sunsets, now’s the time to reintroduce heavier fabrics into your rotation—from velvety corduroy and cloud-like fleece to brushed flannels, pillowy down vests, rugged denim jackets, and fluffy mohair knits. Each adapts to any environment, whether you’re biking to the office on a Nishiki, trekking down trails, or traveling for a foliage-season bouldering session.

After all, we’re entering the best outdoor climbing season, when cooler temperatures increase friction on the wall and lower humidity means you don’t have to worry about chalking quite as much. For our fall and winter collection, we’ve updated a few classics in a durable plant-based fabric, introduced a new camo print, and added reversible jackets to take you wherever the leaves may lead you.

01

THE COMMUTER

Corduroy is a workhorse material, and our wide-wale version combines the look of the pair your favorite college professor wore with the volume and carpenter styling of a below-the-knee breakline tough enough for contractors.

The recognizable jumbo corduroy has a substantial heft and a faded appearance right out of the box, as if you scored them from a local thrift shop. The fabric and relaxed fit make these an easy option for the office commute, with two spacious slanted pockets and enough room to keep you comfortable while pedaling. They’re also a great foundation for an entire outfit: throw on an anorak to dodge the rain, or layer a garment-dyed long-sleeved tee with a hefty button-down for lightweight layering.

THE EARLY RISER

A fleece is arguably the single most important layer you can own. Our thermal fleece jacket is cut from 100 percent recycled polyester and accented with nylon on the shoulders and pockets, adding a little protection when an impromptu drizzle rolls in. A drawcord at the hem lets you cinch it up over a T-shirt or leave it loose over a long-sleeved shirt.

This is a garment you can wear to an early-morning climbing session, stow in your tote bag for the day, and throw on again around a bonfire after a day of birding on the trail. When the temperature really drops, double up with a fleece vest on top for extra insulation and pair it with a hardy set of canvas-twill pants.

THE COUCH ESCAPE

Mohair can be tough for some, especially when it’s overdone—and the itch factor starts to creep in. Our mohair sweater and cardigan, however, are lightweight blends of acrylic, nylon, wool, and mohair, creating a drapey, plush knit that feels like a blanket your grandmother knitted for you.

The one-of-a-kind splatter motif feels like something you might have seen Kurt Cobain wear during Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged set. It’s coziest over a tee and feels right at home with baggy sherpa pants and a reversible sherpa vest, if you must leave the couch for a quick errand run.

THE TERMINAL LAYER

If a fleece is a perennial layering piece, then a cotton crewneck sweater might be the most versatile. Ours has the athletic feel of a vintage crewneck sweatshirt while marrying it with the formality of a sweater, thanks to its tight weave and ribbing at the neckline and wrists.

Its layering capabilities make it an ideal travel essential: wear it on its own when the cabin gets chilly, or use it as a mid-layer when temperatures really drop. Our faded versions also break up a denim-on-denim look if you want to go that styling route. And because it's 100 percent cotton, you don't need to run it to the cleaners. Throw it in the wash to remove the filth from going through the terminal.

A UNIFORM FOR BOROUGHS

Shadow-plaid flannels are the common thread between blue-collar workers, punks, hipsters, and artists. They’re an easy shirt that democratizes personal style. Our version is made from brushed flannel, which gently pulls and raises loose fibers from the woven threads, creating a plush, airy feel. Throw one on with baggy cargo pants, or with something that has a bit more taper when wearing sneakers.

It’s also an easy layer to pair with our G-Zero jacket, keeping you warm as you maneuver through the city—skimming records, ordering cortados, and flipping through an issue of the Summit Journal.
